Cranberry-Peanut Butter Balls

1 cup of peanut butter

1/2 cup of dried cranberries

2 cups of confectioners sugar

1 1/2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips

2 tablespoons  of crisco

2 teaspoons of butter

Mix peanut butter, cranberries and confectioners sugar together in a bowl.  Form into approximately 1 inch balls.  Chill in freezer.

In a double boiler, over medium to high heat, melt together chocolate chips and crisco until smooth. Add butter.

Take peanut butter-cranberry balls from the freezer and insert a toothpick into each. Dip each ball into the chocolate until almost covered.  Place onto a lightly oiled plate.  Return to refrigerator for 30 minutes to an hour to set.
